first vaca

1st family vaca = success. We took JJ to the beach for a few days last week and really enjoyed the nice break and time that we were able to spend relaxing trying to relax as much as you can with a six month old - The trip was defeintely an eye opening experience as it was our first time being at the beach with a baby in tow -

Summary:
JJ sweats as much as his dad does [especially under his nose] and much prefers the umbrella to direct sunlight :)
He has absolutely no problem realxing & sleeping anywhere [i.e. see pictures below]
Wait time at a restaurant has a completely new meaning
Sand is completely overrated
Days seem a lot longer/more productive when everyone in your condo is up by 5:30 in the morning

We had a really good time with friends and weren't ready to come back so soon - It definitely took a few days to get in the swing of things [i.e. what to haul/not to haul to the beach everyday] and then it was time for us to go....We'll be back......
